My first ultra, the marshalling in particular was top notch and the aid stations were great. Not much local support but then again it's largely off road and it was the last Sunday before Christmas. A few very narrow stretches were a bit of a drawback and some of the terrain was quite treacherous in the very slippery condition-however this was my first off road race so I have little to compare it to. Nice medal and goody bag so overall a good race.
