← Brighton Marathon
I should start by saying i am a slow marathoner - Im one of those 5 hour plus ones!
Brighton could have been fabulous - so much of the course is pretty and the kids races the day before were great - my son loved them. The support on the course is also fab, especially around the Hove area where it seemed everyone was having a marathon street party.
However the organisation was appalling and the response after when many of us complained on social media means I will never run there again. We had 6 miles without water - not exactly a minor thing.. any other issues like no t shirts left and rubbish goody bags were just grumbles but i dont expect to rely on peoples garden hosepipes to drink!
