← Brighton Marathon
Great marathon for first timers to those experienced athletes! The course is undulating - many flat parts but also a fair few inclines.
Unfortunately my first experience was slightly dampened due to the water station problems but the hottest day of the year weather wasn't foresaw. It was such a HOT day!!!!
I enjoyed every single mile of Brighton mainly due to the fantastic turn out of locals and supporters. The vibe and motivation is amazing! The only miles I disliked were 22-24 near the power station. It's a very sad and lonely couple of miles.
Not a fan of having to go collect race packs. Fortunately I collected quite quickly but I heard some were in queues for hours. Not ideal.
Overall great race. Maybe a little overpriced but it hasn't stopped me going for it a second time.
