Really enjoyed this race this year. The support out there was great. Definatly would recommend this course to any level of triathlete as it will challenge each and every one of us in some way or other. The swim is a good one for the 'not so strong' swimmers as it is in the lagoon just out side la santa resort. A longish run up to transition, which was really well run and marshaled. Fantastic bike ride if you know the bike course before or not :) more on the hilly and windy side than flat. The run isnt the hilliest but its still not the fastest run course.
I was a little harder on scoring the 'safety' and 'marchall supervision' as there are parts of the bike course can get very busy with traffic and there were a few hairy moments with the road towards the tabayesco climb that is busy and they do not close it. There is another section where the riders go through teguise from two different directions at two different points of the course and we come to a roundabout; the police seem to be in charge of that section but it still felt unorganised and a little dangerous. I dont think i am the only one who raced the course this year who thought so.

that is the only negative. other then that a fantastic race that all triathletes should have a go at :)
