I managed to complete all 3 of the Yately 10k races (June, July and August) in 2018. Their medals are the unique selling point and it was the first time I've completed the series of 3. All 3 medals can be put together to make something unique. It's easy to sign up for and all races sell out in record time. It's very well publicised on their Facebook page as well as on Twitter and via email. Local support in very good. Lots of portaloos but the queues for all of them were huge! I'm not sure what more could be done but try and go before getting there! 2 water stations on the course with water in polystyrene cups. Not ideal to drink whilst running but I guess it makes it cheaper. Lots of marshalls who are enthusiastic and encourage you to keep left when on roads that aren't closed. Plenty of free parking available.

It's a very undulating course but again, it's what makes this event unique. It's local to me but I'd do it every year.

This was the 3rd and final race of the summer 10k series. I did 2 of the 3 races last year and this was my first one this year. Unfortunately the organisers couldn't do anything about the wet and windy weather but the atmosphere was still just as good as ever. Registration was easy; plenty of car parking. The start/finish is on the school field which is well marked out with an announcer over loud speaker. The course is all on road with a couple of inclines making it just right. There were 778 finishers showing it to be a very popular event. Not an automatic PB course but that said I managed one! There are a few road closures and where roads are open they are well marshalled and there is some good local support. Two water stations keep you well hydrated as well as a sponge station. The medals are excellent - if you complete all 3 races they link together into a lovely design. Next year I will sign up for my 3rd year at this event but you'll need to sign up early as it sells out really quickly.

A fantastic 3 race 10k run series. Well organised, enthusiastic marshalls and great local support. Other than one long stretch of main road, a really pretty route. Two water stations and a wet sponge . Three lovely medals which clip together to make a little trophy. All in all a brilliant race series.
