I think this is a great course as this route is very scenic along the river. I love that they hand out donuts every mile. I was great to see families with their kids and to see the smiles on their faces when they got their donuts. This was my second time running the xo x-EAU race so I brought a baggie to take my donuts home with me and shared with my kids afterwards. Every ECM race I've been to, I've noticed the garbage stations have a recycling bin and a compost bin which I greatly appreciate as an avid recycler myself.

If I could give 10 stars for “swag” I would, Holy Donuts minis every mile?! I scarfed down every donut as soon as I got it and couldn’t wait to get to the next station. Being an untimed event with a spread out start made it much more fun and relaxing.
