Stress free event from ease of regsistration, setting up in transition and racing round the traffic free laps of Dorney Lake. A great race for everyone, from first timers looking to try out a Duathlon in a safe and friendly environment through to competitive age groupers and elites, looking to benchmark their fitness at the monthly events.

F3 ran a well-organised event, the conditions were cold and potentially icy but they made every effort to ensure that each athlete was safe, and made good decisions while racing. It was thoroughly enjoyable and great to compete with novice and experienced athletes alike. Dorney is a great venue offering a flat, and beautiful course!

It was a freezing but beautiful morning in Dorney - the transisiton area was well marshalled and easy to navigate
The prerace brief was entertaining and informative - and reminded us that the conditions were icy -, throughout the bike course there were two marshall on the far end bridge remininding us to slow down and take care on the icy bridge
It was a great morning out and felt very well organised !
Massive shout out to the marshalls who braved the -6 temperatures ! Will be back again to another one soon !

this was my first proper duathlon, and certainly a good route. The registration was simple, all set up in a tent, race brief was basic, but not much more was needed. It's a lapped route around Dorney Lake. Not the most exciting route, but it's a good course to go all out. Not real criticism is the cycle route had a lot of debris and I saw many out owing to punctures. I turned up in my entry level bike, and this course clearly attracts the big dogs in their super fast bikes.
Support was minimal, just those you brought with you, and aid station was very basic.
In summary I enjoyed the event and would do it again. It's a good course to go all out and test yourself on the flat. A really friendly atmosphere with friendly RD and crew. What more can you ask for in a pre season warm up.
