A fantastic event and one often seen as a season closer by many runners. The route is really well thought out with wide (closed) and flat good quality roads. Pacers are provided from 35 mins, separated by 2.5 mins. Run North West Events stand out for their provision of pacers at ...

A fantastic event and one often seen as a season closer by many runners. The route is really well thought out with wide (closed) and flat good quality roads. Pacers are provided from 35 mins, separated by 2.5 mins. Run North West Events stand out for their provision of pacers at the faster end and for intermediate times, e.g., 42.5 mins, 47.5 mins, etc. The numbers seem to grow from year to year.

Absolutely fantastic race. Organisation is top notch, and race number collection is very efficient. Race is fairly flat with a few undulations. Loved the course, and it is certainly a fast course which is has definite PB potential. Loved it, and would definitely recommend!

A super fast course for good value. I signed up early to the event to get on the early bird price and I love the value this event gives, only 49 minutes from my home. The atmosphere is fantastic, with loads of people dressing up.you get a really good mix of runners with some well known elite athletes showing up now and again. I ran this for a PB and just about achieved it.

A great race to get into the festive sprite. The course itself starts in the middle of Wilmslow town centre near the Run North West shop itself, we park on the outskirts of the town following the instructions on the email and it was a 10 minute walk to the registration hall. Nice...

A great race to get into the festive sprite. The course itself starts in the middle of Wilmslow town centre near the Run North West shop itself, we park on the outskirts of the town following the instructions on the email and it was a 10 minute walk to the registration hall. Nice and straight forward and bag drop off is available. The course is nice heading out of the town in the first couple of km before being on country lines. Overall pretty flat and just a great atmosphere. The water station 5k was everything you’d expect. Finish line however was a 10 to 15 walk back into the town centre. Ideal for a cool down run or just a walk back eating your flapjack out of the goodie bag. The main thing is the medals from Run North West are always fantastic, again they didn’t disappoint. Looking forward to this years Wilmslow Festive 10k.

2nd time running this course, as last year really enjoyed the run. It was well organised from sign up to the start line.

The only gripe I have is the finish line, yes there is a walk back to the start, which I dont really mind but my gripe is as you cross the finish, with the numbers of runners finishing and the narrow road, it seems to take an age to get through.

That being said, I have already signed up for my 3rd time.
