Fantastic Christmas run. I really didn’t think I’d be able to do full 10k due to recent illness so planned to duck out after the first lap. However the atmosphere, course and supporters were so lovely I kept going and finished. 10/10, would highly recommend, will definitely b...

Fantastic Christmas run. I really didn’t think I’d be able to do full 10k due to recent illness so planned to duck out after the first lap. However the atmosphere, course and supporters were so lovely I kept going and finished. 10/10, would highly recommend, will definitely be back next year. Great medal as well.

A fantastic, well-organised Christmas event. It was easy to find with clear signage as you approached Westonbirt House and plenty of free parking. The festive atmosphere was great, with lots of participants in Christmas outfits. The bag drop was quick and efficient, with helpful staff and plenty of space. The two-lap course did had a few inclines although it also had some downhill sections too. It was well marshalled, with friendly staff doing an excellent job keeping runners safe, especially around traffic. Having “Shouty Dave” on the final stretch was a brilliant touch and gave runners a real boost at the finish. The water station at 5km was well placed and well run, though an extra bin or more people could’ve made cup disposal easier, compared to just 1 person holding a black bag. Facilities were clearly signposted, with plenty of food and drink vendors, including a bar. Toilets were clean, though queues were long just before the start (as expected, although more toilets are always welcome). I’d happily book again next year and plan to do so as soon as entries open.

A fabulous event, full of Christmas cheer. The course was beautiful, marshals were delightful, the medal is sublime. The race 'boss' delivered an awesome spiel all day, on a great spund system. Info was clear, logistics were easy, plentiful free parking, loo queue was short and fast, venue is magnificent . Only downside was that the course was a little congested for the first half. Maybe the growing popularity of this amazing event means a more staggered start may be in order. Having said that, it prevents early burnout and makes for great negative splits 😍 I wholeheartedly recommend this event and very much hope to be back.

One of the funnest and easiest 10k’s I’ve attended, extremely straight forward to find, park and navigate yourself around all the facilities, enough sign posting and helpful staff around to support you. All interactions with marshalls or anyone supporting at the event was friendly and helpful. All points we used was easy. Toilets well managed and clean. The course was lovely, even on roads with cars the marshalls did a fantastic job at navigating, some of the best marshalls I’ve ever seen, so enthusiastic and friendly. The medal was absolutely brilliant, great finish line experience. Can’t wait to go again next year! Really well done to all who hosted and supported

Hi Dawn, thanks so much for your review and really glad you loved the race and the medal :-D With regards to the hot drinks, we actually did have another supplier, but as we had the power cut in the area they could not operate so left when we found out the power would be out all day.

Fantastic. This is my second time at Westonbirt House, but a first doing the Christmas 10K. Really great atmosphere, particularly helped by the excellent PA system which meant you could everything from anywhere and so really helped bring evreyone at the event together if you know what I mean. Good two lap course, although a little congested on the first KM but there was still plenty of time to catch up and that I did with a new PB that I'm very pleased with. An absolutely fantastic medal too - first I've seen with a 2D snow globe inside it. I don't know how they are going to top that one!
