I think that the event it self was good , the marshals the signage and encouragement from them was good too, however I have to say that at the end of the 10k event they had ran out of hot drinks! which I think is bad management as I really needed a cup of tea or coffee. I think i...

I think that the event it self was good , the marshals the signage and encouragement from them was good too, however I have to say that at the end of the 10k event they had ran out of hot drinks! which I think is bad management as I really needed a cup of tea or coffee. I think instead of having a bar it would have been more prudent to have another van/stall selling tea, coffee etc maybe some sandwiches, as it would have had more customers using it, and therefore an increase in revenue for the event.

I had a friend (AN) do the half marathon on Good Friday. She was disappointed that her medal was lost. I secretly got in touch with James to ask for a replacement. What a fabulous guy!! He posted it out to me and I was delighted to surprise my friend with a replacement medal....

I had a friend (AN) do the half marathon on Good Friday. She was disappointed that her medal was lost. I secretly got in touch with James to ask for a replacement. What a fabulous guy!! He posted it out to me and I was delighted to surprise my friend with a replacement medal. She was so pleased. It was the coolest Easter themed medal and I could understand why she really wanted to add this to her collection. More people in the world should be like James! So kind. 👍👍

This was a lovely event for my first half marathon. The parking was really close to the start so I didn't have to use the bag storage. The staff, especially the pacers were really good for advice beforehand. During the race, we were name checked as we completed a lap and the safety motorbikes were a reassuring sight. The medal was awesome, I loved it. It's a pity there wasn't a photographer at the finish line and the quality of photos could be better. More restorative snacks at the end would have been useful. Cola bottles don't quite hit the mark. A great day, I'd recommend it.

Course was challenging without being overwhelming with beautiful scenery. The medal...outstanding. Creative, weighty, beautiful ribbon, little egg...possibly my favourite. Thank you to all involved.

This was my favourite event of the many races I have done so far! Parking was easy and well organised, as was bib collection. As always there were long queues for toilets but due to the amount available the queue went down very quickly and the toilets were clean. The pacers were incredible, helping me to have one of best races yet and all the Marshalls cheering and the announcer! The medals were fantastic, so different to anything else I’ve received and the sweets at the end were very appreciated, especially the jelly snakes! My first race with I-Complete but definitely won’t be my last!
