My third time running the Welcome Way and it was as good as always. I should declare I am one of the Punk Panther ambassadors so I am somewhat biased! PP is like a running family to me and I love the welcoming and friendly atmosphere, where all runners, beginner and experienced, new to PP or not, young and old, are equally welcomed. Well stocked checkpoints and fantastic food at the finish ensure that you will never go hungry and you don't need to carry too many supplies yourself. I enjoyed meeting several runners new to PP who had come from various parts of the country to run this race.

I always enjoy PP events events. I like to be the back marshal offering support. Occasionally I like to just have a good run out myself. Everyone is supportive. I love the fact they do different distances. Send GPX route. Also areas are taped for newbies who are learning navigation. The aid stations are really good. Julian Paramadic is always on hand. Bev Ryk and Mark are super supportive and will help as much as possible. Love the PP ambassadors Love meeting new people learning about their goals and challenges going forwards. For me the animals are the added bonus. I love the t shirts. The best race T by far. The colours are amazing

Enjoyed this Punk Panther event (my second ultra with them). As always the organisers, Marshall’s and everyone involved was superb. A friendly race where all competitors really support and care for each other. Navigation was tricky for me so I ran 1.5miles extra which took the edge off a little. I’ll be back next year and can easily beat my time if I don’t get quite so lost. Still a great event and highly recommend.

The Punk Panther ultra is a favourite of mine having done it a number of times since the first one in 2017. It’s a great route with some excellent views, challenging but not overly tough. The organisation by the PP team has been superb since that first race and the volunteers on the course and at the aid stations are always really friendly and helpful. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who hasn’t entered it before!
