A final pre—event communication would help with arrival times, I had one that said 10:00 & one that said 09:00. I assumed the later was to pick up bib etc. but the actual race time was 10:30, a long time to hang around in the cold and damp day. Apart from that a great morning ...

This is the second time I’ve done this race with the same friend. We’ve dressed up on both occasions.

This race is a lot of fun. It’s great seeing people in a whole range of Christmas costumes.

We took a slightly different route the one I did two years ago. There’s one little incline but other than that it’s flat.

Aid stations are perfect,

No queuing for race numbers and they had portapoo’s... I mean portaloos 🤣

And a lovely cute reindeer medal for our efforts.

I did this race in December 2017. It was a fun race, a great atmosphere and the marshalls were great. There was a fancy dress competition and some of the costumes were quite cool. The medal we received was very nice too. This course was completely flat around Cassiobury Park, it was a cold day but when you’re running that all goes out the window. I would recommend this race to people looking for a little fun ☺️
