My first triathlon and I fully enjoyed it.  In terms of cost, I can't really say whether too expensive or not.  My only issue was some of the signage during the cycle.  Wasn't clear in one of the villages and meant that I went the wrong way adding a couple of minutes on to my time

Severely overpriced. Swim was a shambles, bike course could of ridden any day of the week (like alot of cycle clubs were doing) no closed roads so you don't actually get a unique experience. Run went round the back of the leisure centre again, could run whenever you wanted. Will do this race again but on my own time and will spend about £5 doing it. Also had to pay for parking. £65 and absolute rip off. At £40 for a sprint this would still be expensive. 

Given the unique circumstances in which we find ourselves this event was incredibly well organised and it was great to see the nessus that were in place to keep the athletes secure during the pandemic. I look forward to when it can be run again with a full register of athletes and spectators! Thanks to all the team who organised and all the marshals who did a sterling job in some rather unpleasant weather, even managing to give prior warning of an RTC that had taken place on the cycle route. 

Really well organised on the day and felt totally safe in the current circumstances. Never done a pool swim triathlon before so was a little worried of how it would work, but the pre race broef made it really easy to understand. All the marshalls were really helpful and friendly. Great event

Superb event, despite the pandemic! Course was great, although the cycle was very 'undulating' if you get what I mean. Run was good but super slippery and muddy underfoot but that added to the fun of it. Great support and the marshals were all super happy and friendly. My first triathlon and I'll certainly be back!
