I've done this race for the last three years, and find it very small and friendly. It is on undulating country roads and has a lovely finish with a lap of the playing fields - great for spectators! There are food and cake stalls on the playing fields too.
My only gripe is that we have had the same t shirt for the last two years, a poor quality scratchy one at that - but just with a different date on the front. Exactly the same. A lot of negative comments about this from lots of runners at the finish line.
