This is a mid-week evening race with a great PB potential in the National Trust grounds of Waddesdon Manor. Plenty of parking available and free. Collecting your bib number was simple, and the toilet facilities were at the same location.
The course is basically an out and back route along the driveway to the Manor house where you turn around. There is a slope up to the manor for the first 2k, then you loop around the front of the house and its all the way back down to the finish.
A well-organised event, with friendly marshals and photographer on the course. Unfortunately, no medal, but instead of a commemorative mug, not forgetting your bottle of water. Even though no medal, I would do it again, a great little event in mid-week and only 13 pounds to enter.

you start in the car park & go uphill to the manor, you work hard to get to the top but you’re rewarded with a stunning view of Waddesdon Manor, if you’re not a National Trust member you’d usually pay a pretty penny just to get into the grounds & see the house so it’s a bargain.
then there’s a nice downhill to finish so it balances out your time
water stops we’re on route local scouts doing themselves proud there marshals got you round the turns well
theres no medal at this race but you get a finishers mug.
Therea a nice green area near the finish so families can picnic & then the cricket club bar is open after for award presentations & a swift beer
