Overview

We are returning in September with a contact-free, covid-secure event experience. We know how important races are to every runner and we are doing everything possible to make sure our event will be safe. The benefits of committing to a goal, running with others and that finish line feeling will be all the greater after the challenges we’ve experienced last year.

The TWIN LAKES 20 is a 10 or 20-mile race that will prepare you for your Autumn marathon experience without having to run on your own. You can enjoy the incredibly scenic, superfast, and traffic-free course through the stunning Milton Keynes countryside. Lapping two beautiful lakes, following the picturesque River Ouzel and the Grand Union Canal, you'll never be far from the water! The course is multi-terrain with about 80% on cycle paths with some gravel paths and the remainder on the canal towpath. The TWIN LAKES 20 is a friendly event organised by Dirt Running with 11 years of running event experience, making sure you have the best day possible. This race is an ideal training run for anyone running any of the great Spring marathon events. Please help raise funds for Willen Hospice!
