Thank you for your participation and your suggestions. Regarding your comments, we had portable toilets every less then 5 km which is a standard for races like ours. However we will try to improve in this field in the future. Concerning our race course stuff, we would like to inform you that we use a mix of official judges (at the most critical points) and volunteers. Furthermore we have timing control points at every u-turn (where it's possible to cheat). So we are sure that we have a reliable race. As you may know the live results are unofficial as corrections of participants data (Yob, etc) and objections may appear. Concerning the runner you have mentioned, he was already in our DQ list and he will be out of the race results list. We are looking forward to see you again in our event.

Thank you Georgios for your kind words that they give us strength and motive, we hope to see you again next year!!
Rhodes Marathon is growing and getting better. This Year competitors could choose to run 5k, 10k, 21k and of course the Marathon distance. Kids race also attracted great number of kids from local schools and families visiting the Island for Holidays. Great way to combine sports and vacation for all. Finishing the race a big smile awaits you with a unique metalium of Rhodes Sun to remind you of Race and the beatiful Island. Keep the date for 2018, 29 April. I will definately do it again and go for full Marathon this time..

It was great to see improvements from previous races, i.e., porta looks along the course.
Last year I ran in Cyprus and there the support from the marshals and volunteers was fantastic, really uplifting.
Around the Rhodes course this year there was no encouragement, clapping , calls of well done- all these help to boost the run and moral. It felt as if they would just be glad when we had all finished and they could leave.
Also, 12 midday could have been unbearably hot if it hadn't have been for the slight breeze.
Finally, it was really hard to have to run past the finish so close to the end but still have to go around the block to complete the course.
i am very glad though that this event exists in Rhodes and I do look forward to taking part again in the future.

bad bad baaad Registration process. A guy who was at the registration process, when i asked him to give me my number chip and the tshirt and the bag, he told me that the numbers and the tshirts are finished. I dont care about the tshirt, but i wanted that number chip. So we have a fight and then the numbers appears and all that because the guy was in a bad mood or because he was bored. Choose your employers for importants things like registration better. Anything else was wonderful.
