Result a pulled muscle, and I wasn't the only one. Surely this delay shouldn't happen with chip timing

Good facilities for changing etc. Good medal too, and a nice selection of food in the goodie bag after too. Would recommend this event, will be doing it again next year! Be quick though, as it sells out quickly.

This was the second time I’ve done the Trowse 10k, the last time being in 2016. I absolutely loved the race this year, it’s such a lovely friendly course and has the added bonus of being close to home for me. They had tried to experiment with starting waves this year to avoid the bottle neck around the very narrow footpath beside the small broad. The principle was good but no one knew what they were doing, we were given starting waves on our race envelope but on arriving at the start there was nothing to mark where each wave started. Lots of people were wandering around aimlessly trying to work out where to be. I ended up going a wave early, it never did get resolved. Other that that it was really well organised, plenty of water at the water station and lots of support from the locals. I love this course with “that hill” twice!! I would recommend it to anyone that likes an undulating but quick and friendly 10k.

First time running this - ironically 3 years after moving from Norwich to Cambridge. With that in mind the 9am start was a bit of a headache and running little bit late to start so couple of additional portaloos would have been good to reduce queues. Grabbing number efficient and bag drop great and Norwich ski club a great base.

interesting and challenging course - busy  at start with couple tight sections but soon thinned out and nice wide roads. 2 lots of slogging up the long hill out of trowse but rewarded with a nice downhill then flat finish to each lap with great scenery entering whitlingham park and lake. Nice fast finish, good medal and nice little selection of snacks in the goodie bag.

would recommend for a tough little 10k
