My 2nd Big Bear event and a truly enjoyable experience. Great communication in advance of the event, a solid briefing and a genuine community feel throughout. My only comment for consideration would be to have a photographer at the finish line to capture that final moment of achievement, although I appreciate this is down to the resources of your chosen provider. The provisional results were available very quickly and all volunteers at marshalling points, aid stations or at the end were incredibly supporting. Thank you and well done to the whole team.

Beautiful trail course, and lots in shade, which was good in the warmer temperatures. The route was really clearly marked (except the minor arrowgate at the start!), and loads of information beforehand including the gpx files. The aid stations/finish area were excellent, full of both sweet and savoury goodies – everything you could want (the salted potatoes were perfect) – with plenty of drinks. The volunteers and marshals were amazing. We couldn't hvae asked for better – nothing was too much trouble, and they were so encouraging all the way through. Loved it – I'll definitely be back!

Absolutely top class event. My first Ultra and I genuinely don't think I could have done it without the Big Bear set up. The generous cut off took the pressure off, the aid stations were top class (as usual for Big Bear) and the volunteers were superb. Couldn't be happier

Extremely well-organised event - the communications prior to the day were very comprehensive and the pre-race briefing ten minutes before the start was also clear and very detailed. Love the collapsible cups - another eco-friendly win and the cups are very easy to put in a pocket, so even easier than carrying a bottle. Great range of drinks (coke, water, electrolytes) at km 3 and 8, and a fantastic array of food at the end too - cakes, sweets, fruit, cheese and crackers, Jaffa cakes, crisps. My only suggestion for improvement (and it's a very minor one) would be to have water at the finish line - there was only apple juice or alcohol -free lager available. Great event, can't wait to run with Big Bear again soon.
