I have done a number of Big Bear Events and as always the event was well organised and the course was well marked. Paul and his team are friendly and helpful and I always feel that everyone is made welcome at Big Bear events.

A fantastic event that I will definitely be doing again! I missed a right turn for the half marathon right near the end, (I have no complaints about this as it was totally my mistake) but maybe a slightly bigger sign would have been helpful at this late stage in the race, as I understand I was not the only person who made this mistake. At the time I was with a group running the marathon distance but unfortunately didn't realise this and missed the turning. Like I said, my error and I have no complaints and will be back :) I had a great day and it was nice to add an extra km onto a very enjoyable run! :)

First 50k I’ve done, course was tough but it’s really rewarding when you cross the finish line. Aid stations were great and the staff running them were friendly and supportive. Now all I want to do is come back next year and try and get a better time.

Everything, from the course, info given by RD, the volunteers, aid stations , the atmosphere. Absolutely enjoyed it. A fab event! If the rain can wait till we all finished, that will be perfect but not a deal breaker . It was still a perfect day out running in the most beautiful ...
