Absolutely fantastic event. Great organisation and a lovely venue. Will definitely be exploring the trails round there more. My wife was also made to feel very welcome as a spectator and informed where to see me on route. It was a good intro to running on different terrain and a very friendly event. Loved the medal! Would recommend highly to friends and will be back next year *(:_:)*

Great organisation and such a lovely run. The routes takes you through some really pretty scenery and the whole event had a very welcoming, friendly feel. Loved the medal and snacks at the end. It was extremely cold on the day, so we grabbed a coffee and went back to the car to keep warm beforehand, but we were only parked 100m from the start which was great.

83rd differet location Half Marathon.

Great warning about the possibility of the couse being muddy. It was not at bad as expected. Two laps for the half marathoners so you knew eactly what was to come!

The sun was blinding for the first three miles, then on the second lap 7, 8 & 9, due to the time of year.

At points through the course, it was single file, this caused a traffic build up especially behind runners that became slower up hill. Some of the pathways were mud, where every foot placed on the ground would slide to the side. There were icy puddles where you would have to snake your way around. And down hills that would throw you down with such speed, which in turn made you throw your arms out wide to give you balance so not to fall over unseen tree stumps.

For a newbie like me it was amazing. Such a buzz to run with my friends and cross the line together at the end whilst getting your names called out! I don't have any other races to compare it to, but this was just such an excellent experience from start to finish. I'm so proud of my medal!! Thank you to everyone invovled in organising and helping.

We loved it! Not our first Racing Line Running event and it certainly won't be our last.

The typically beautiful course and the medal topped it all off, but in addition, the event was so friendly and well organised. Great pre race info and all made really easy for us runners. Loads of parking space, loads of toilets, quick registration and a really pretty venue for the start/finish right by the river. It was a freezing cold day, but everyone was in great spirits with cheery marshals - they probably had to jump about to keep warm!

Really good value too when you look at other races at the same location. The organisers have promised more trails for next time, so I'll be signing up for sure.
