This was my first triathlon so I was a bit nervous but would do it all again now knowing that it is such a well organised event with amazing people every step of the way. My only negative is that I opted for my pack to be posted out to me and 3 days post event it still hasn’t arrived!!! No problem however on the day to register and get a new race number! Thank you to all concerned.

It was my first triathlon and a solo middle aged woman who had never entered into any events before. And was cycling on a Brompton!I found the communication leading up to the event excellent, responsive with clear information. Being able to sign in the day before and talk to event organisers and support staff was particularly helpful and to go and look around the routes to familiarise myself. The event itself was excellently run, with great support and encouragement. It felt very inclusive and open to all abilities. I loved it! A big thank you to Helen who was really helpful, encouraging and gave me some good tips as a novice! I highly recommend for anyone who fancies a challenge but doesn’t know where to start.
