This is an amazing event - beautiful lake and stunning scenery. But it’s tough, do train for hills! Friendly staff, super well marked cycle route, well organised swim round an island , both different and easier to sight. Everyone enjoyed themselves

What a fantastic event. Clean and rather warm lake swim around the beautiful parc Bryn Bach, followed by an epic 96km through stunning Breconshire scenery with a brutal but rewarding climb up the iron mountain to tick off a challenging but fun bike course, followed by a hilly half marathon full of enthusiastic volunteers, plenty of nutrition support at the side stations and great crowd support. Brilliant job by the marshalls throughout the entire event. Very well organised, definitely one for next year again.

Weather rain and wind but that’s Wales for you and the run nothing but a few hills to keep you motivated . A great route for those hoping to do an Ironman . Organisers and helpers on the day outstanding well done loved it see you again next year.

Very disappointing that there was no trophy for podium places, considering that last year a monetary prize and a trophy was awarded, and this is what was advertised when signing up for the Titan. I feel it poor that it was falsely advertised, and just a bottle of Prosecco given. ...

Very disappointing that there was no trophy for podium places, considering that last year a monetary prize and a trophy was awarded, and this is what was advertised when signing up for the Titan. I feel it poor that it was falsely advertised, and just a bottle of Prosecco given. In any other event I know, atleast a trophy has been awarded, especially as it cost £143 to enter the event!

Hi and thanks for your feedback. Apologies that we did not have the trophies as advertised for the race day presentation. We will be sorting this and ensuring they go to those worthy recipients. However, whilst we have done prize money in the past it was not listed for the 2023 race. We had to make the decision when we came back from Covid that we could no longer budget for prize money at this event. However, we honoured the previous awards in 2022 (our first post-covid race) because many of the entrants were deferrals from 2019. The prize list as advertised for 2023 is detailed below. We do apologise for falling short on this (there were some mitigating circumstances) but it will be all sorted retrospectively. In addition, we are procuring a winners' trophy which will have all the winners' names engraved on and will be awarded to the new winners each year. – Overall and age-group prizes provided by sponsors. – Fastest Male and Female up the “Iron: Polka Dot Jersey – Quickest Half Marathon Male and Female: Trophy and Bubbles.

Very challenging event, tough weather on the day but the DBMax team were extremely well organised and had great volunteers who were constantly trying to motivate everyone. The lake swim was beautiful and surprisingly warm, the bike is beautiful with some challenging climbs ( especially towards the end ). The run is park style on asphalt with some cheeky climbs and decants. Even with the worse weather possible I finished with a smile on my face and enjoyed every minute. Definitely one to keep in the calendar going forward!
