There were two things that could have been better: 1. An arrow pointing down the tunnel. I felt bad asking the Marshall to cross the race track to explain where to go. 2. I was one of the slowest racing and by the time I got to T2 the open race was racking up. Sadly those racking paid no attention and this slowed my transition. Happily one of the Marshalls shouted at them to ask them to move and they did. Not sure you could do much more than this though. Even me saying excuse me didn’t help. Overall I loved it even though I felt a little out of place among all the amazing athletes. It was kind of you to let amateurs join in.

Another solid consistent event from Kelly and her team! I attend around 3-4 of the CE events throughout the year and they all have the same thing in common. Well run, friendly, professional and a quality feel. Course is fast (apart from the up hill wind section lol) and safe...

This was the first time I'd entered Thruxton and I must say that the whole process from start to finish has been great. Always kept informed prior to the event and fantastic organisation on the day. Brilliant venue, easy to find, loads of parking, and everything on site that I needed. Track was great for both the run and bike (despite the 30mph headwind uphill towards the start/finish). Extremely well organised event. My only suggestion is that I thought the spacing between the racked bikes was too small. Very little room to place shoes and helmet and have suitable room without knocking in to the bikes next to you. I will definitely be returning next year. Thanks to all involved.

This is a brilliant event - well organised as always by Challenging Events and a great off road opportunity for beginners and experienced triathletes alike. Particularly amazing marshalls this year, from registration through to the course and the finish line, thank you!
