My 1st ultra and what a race. A flat first 20 miles before the hills. The many steps almost did me in over the next few miles before I hit the tarmac at Babbacombe & recovered my pace. Fantastic finisher’s t-shirt (fitted technical) & free fish & chips.
It was very wet on race day, the course was clear and plenty of marshals. It’s a game of two Half first 20 is easy running terrain but from Shaldon onwards it’s challenging, you may not get a PB but it as remained one of my favourite for digging deep and completing it...Read full review
