This years Spring Wolf Run was at a brand new location and was perfect for Wolf Run. As always its in the middle of no-where but well signposted so easy to find. With all Wolf Run events you get a great mixture of running & obstacles. The obstacles are spread out enough that, the running sections break up the runners, so the bottle necks at obstacles aren’t too bad. (You still may have to queue but never for very long) Some of the obstacles look daunting but are infact achievable for all abilities. This makes it a great race for new comers to OCR and the more fun runners amongst us. One thing to remember is it’s Spring. The weather may look lovely & sunny out side but its still cold. In the water its very cold. The swim is a long one! You then must climb out over a bridge via a cargo net. This isn’t easy when you’re are numb from the cold. We did see several people being pulled out after struggling in the water.
As for bling you don’t get a medal for Wolf Run, but they do make up for it with some of the best finishers t-shirts you can get.
In all a great event & will be one of the first on next years race list.

This what’s a great event which I really enjoyed from the start to the finish.
The warm up was fun.
This run had between 30-35 obstacles etc.
Lots of water and mud. What more could you want.
A few hills, monkey bars, tubes to crawl through.
One 50 mtr swim after a water slide then another 70 mtr swim 1k later.
One water station which had plastic cups.
The finish was an anti climax. No photographer or supporters. So this could be better.
A nice t shirt when you finished.
a couple of improvements would be some sort of stable walking platform instead of walking through mud at the food area/info desk etc.
Lack of shower facilities, food options were limited for after, not very good if you are a vegetarian.
I would do this event again but it could be improved in so many ways

After completing the winter wolf in 2014, myself and a group of friends immediatley signed up for the spring version.
The wolf run has two seperate locations, one for winter & summer and the other for spring & autumn. i probably preferred the course for the spring wolf although found it a little harder to get to logistically.
The event was still great fun, although the weather was much colder.
The goody bag was still of high quality with a cliff bar, medal and finishers t-shirt all included.
