Well run event, with easy comms before and during event itself. Couple of very busy roads ( A24, A25) which whilst OK, were a bit scary at times . Dual carriageways and cycles generally don't mix well. But in fairness they were very short runs. First time doing the event and ...

Good event apart from the lack of edible food at the feed stations. Half a banana or kiddies sweets and granny cakes are a little on the mean side. Always the way with UKCE events. The Dartmoor classic provides home cooked and really tasty food!

The climb up Broomfield Road was so clogged with cars coming in both directions, it was impossible to not get stopped on the long climb, obviously getting back on when it's 18% ain't happening, so you had to walk whether you wanted to or not!!

We were fortunate as we had lovely weather for Surrey hills bike ride. Brilliant day however one of the riders had a medical emergency and it was very sad to see. My thoughts are with his/hers family and friends

The Surrey Hills Sportive is a great event run by friendly knowledgeable staff and a challenging but rewarding course. Special mention to James the mechanic for being a massive help before the event, I wouldn’t have been able to ride without his help

First time riding this event and it’s a 50min drive from home so quite convenient. It’s a smaller event but with a big event feel, the start/finish area was decent with music, deckchairs, food and drink options and I’d say just enough toilet. Free parking in the next field too. The volunteers/staff in the event village and out on course were all top-notch - 11/10. Thank you for your efforts. The Surrey roads are generally rubbish, not the event’s fault but something to note and I’d have liked maybe a more comprehensive Road Book with details of the routes and climbs etc, similar to Dragon ride. That said, I’m nit-picking because it really is an excellent ride and worthy of your time and money.
