Lovely course as usual. Few issues with this event. Aid stations were extremely limited. All races started at the same time which caused a huge bottleneck at the start. No pacers on the day which is unusual for an event. Also we were not told were to stand at the start if you wanted to complete the course in a certain time. Medal was nice however same medal as all distances. Overall nice course and thankful to all the volunteers who were helpful and friendly, however having done events at Sherwood before this one was a little disappointing.

This race was great, it was a relatively small event with less than 1000 total runners and beautiful setting with an enjoyable although relatively hilly route. However I have two main issues, firstly the race was scheduled to start at 10:00 but they actually started it at 9:55 so...

This race was great, it was a relatively small event with less than 1000 total runners and beautiful setting with an enjoyable although relatively hilly route. However I have two main issues, firstly the race was scheduled to start at 10:00 but they actually started it at 9:55 so make sure you get there early and secondly the course was seemingly too short (my garmin measured 9.95km rather than 10k which is 50 metres too short and I’d expect my watch to measure further than 10k as you never run the perfect racing line). That being said I would definitely recommend this race.

Only improvement I can suggest, is a marquee for participants to leave there bags , tops,etc . Weather was dry when I did the event so leaving items at the start line not an issue , I am just thinking if it rained . Apart from that suggestion, I felt the whole event was excel...

Fantastic event from start to finish! Communication was clear and useful, number arrived well in advance, easy to park on the day and no horrendous toilet queue!! The fun run was fab, my 3 boys loved it - especially the medal and high 5s at the end. Half marathon route was beauti...

Fantastic event from start to finish! Communication was clear and useful, number arrived well in advance, easy to park on the day and no horrendous toilet queue!! The fun run was fab, my 3 boys loved it - especially the medal and high 5s at the end. Half marathon route was beautiful! Well marshalled, evenly spaced water stations and a lovely atmosphere all the way round. I would definitely recommend this event to friends and would book another Nice Work run again. Thanks for a fantastic experience!

It was a great event. Thank you. I felt the start needed staggering somehow - a lot of the runners that were at the front of the race were actually the slower runners. This led to a lot of congestion, over taking etc in the first 1.5 miles which was unsafe at times and my running partner and I found this difficult. Trying to maintain a steady pace during this time was also difficult. I have ran several half marathons but the nature of the width of the pathways at the start of the race and the lack of staggered start made the first mile or two more difficult than they needed to be.
