UK Run Events is the events channel of #UKRunChat and is bringing you The Running Festival at Goodwood on Sunday 14th October 2018! Featuring a 10K, Half Marathon and Family Mile, all held entirely on the track, this is going to be THE end of season run party to look forward to with music, commentary, Pop Up Pit Shops and great racing of course. The 10K covers two and a half laps, whilst half marathon runners will complete five and a half laps. There will be pacers in both races helping runners to hit your target time on the track. Ronhill, Hilly and Altra are the Official Sports Retail Partners for the event, and The Running Festival at Goodwood will also be an integral part of Ronhill’s #RunEveryDay October challenge. Up & Running is the Official Sports Retail Partner for the event. They will be present at the Pop Up Pit Shops, which will feature a range of well-known brands and innovative accessories for runners. Also look out for Runr, Runderwear, Halo Headband, The Buddy Pouch and Perfect Chaos. Entry fees until 30th September are £22 (affiliated) / £24 (non-affiliated) for the 10K and £30 / £32 for the Half Marathon, including a technical Ronhill race souvenir t-shirt, a bespoke medal, treats at the finish, free race photography, free pre & post race massage, and free parking. Entry fees will increase by £2 from 1st October. Entries for the Family Mile cost £8 for children aged 11 and above running unaccompanied, and also per adult. Entry costs £5 per child aged 4-10 accompanied by an adult. All finishers of the Family Mile receive a medal. RNLI is the Official Charity for the event and anyone wanting to help raise money to save lives at sea should buy their race place via the event website and then set up an RNLI fundraising page.
