Really enjoyable event with stunning scenery throughout. The self nav was difficult for me but the GPX files were accurate and the route explained clearly before hand.

Fantastic race along an existing path. Challenging but fun. Helped that we had lovely weather on the day and the views over Dartmoor were stunning. The gpx file was great to be able to download to my Garmin watch to save getting the map out all the time. Even though I was not with the front runners the cut off time was achievable. The mandatory kit was sensible and not too heavy to carry. Was mainly weighed down by food and water as I don’t tend to eat anything on offer at food stations in case it upsets my stomach!!

It's a great race, especially if you love self nav and the open moors. A good challenge with plenty of long stretches where you can enjoy the unique scenery. Definitely recommended!
