What a great event - was a first timer on a Maverick Race and it was super! Great start and finish area, all runners so friendly and the course was challenging and scenic - will be back next year!

Well organised event, I liked the course, would have preferred couple more marshall on some tricky navigation points or better signage. Very poor goody bag (just a wooden medal, I am not even a fan of wooden medals they can't compare with the metal ones) Overall I am happy and...

A great event village, organisation and course, gutted we had to turn back after only 3k as my dog got stung by a hornet and was in alot of distress, we were lucky that a lovely lady behind us gave her a piriton and we weren't too far from a short cut back. We met lots of other runners and dogs who had also been stung and heard that last year the same thing happened on the course. If the course organisers knew it was a risk it would've been helpful to include it in the briefing, or at least have warning signs out if the route couldn't avoid the nest.

Was a great event...good mixture of hills and flats and they let you borrow some trainers. Didn't like the medals..made of wood and all the same...didn't matter what distance you did. Some of the course was narrow and difficult to pass people and right at the beginning there were...

First time doing this event - would have given 10 out of 10 , but there were no distance markers , so difficult to work out pace etc....would have liked at least at half way and distance to finish....otherwise certainly back next year
