This was our first official ultra together for me and my dog Buddy, we've done 30 miles previously on several occasions locally to us in the West Midlands, and ive done one official ultra (40miles) without him, but all of them were relatively flat compared to this haha. Camp plas was a lovely start location the barn was set up really well for bib collection and post race, the event staff were lovely and friendly especially considering how nervous I was of the whole thing. They all put my mind at ease The volunteers on the aid station were all super friendly to me and also my dog Buddy which he loved. The route was amazing hilly af 🤣 but such amazing views, especially on the loop around above the lake. The run down and then back up the stream, was so much fun and a great opportunity for the dogs to have a drink and a splash. The aid stations had a really good selection of items. All in all it was an awesome event I really enjoyed myself and was super pleased I did it.

We found the course very challenging, but it was well worth the effort, it was such a lovely route from start to finish Overall, very happy

Great event! The campsite was really well set up and run, super friendly team there and check-in was simple and quick. The course itself was great, well organised, clearly signposted and the checkpoint/aid stations were well stocked and the staff were really helpful filling up water, offering food and good craic! The food and celebration afterwards was great too - would highly recommend doing this ultra!

The Loop Ultra was an amazing event. It was like a family reunion with all the familiar faces. Ellen & her team make you feel really welcome from registration to the after party. Taking over Camp Plas for the weekend added to the family feel. The course was well marked so you didn't need the GPX, and the views around the lake were spectacular. All the aid stations were well stocked and the volunteers manning them couldn't do enough to help. Having a BBQ, bar & live music in the evening made The Loop extra special as I don't know of any other company that does that. Some sore heads & legs (probably from all the dancing) on Sunday but everyone sill had a smile on their face Limitless Trail events are the best so you need to do one (or ten) if you haven't already
