It was my first 100km and I’m so glad I picked a Maverick race. Everyone was so supportive all weekend, the aid stations were in great locations and well supported, the route was stunning! Thank you!

Another superb Maverick event. You can always, always be sure you'll get a great route with well-stocked aid stations and the loveliest volunteers. They obviously had a word with the weather gods for this one too as it was *glorious*.

I loved the event, the volunteers on the course were fantastic and registration was efficient and easy. One area of feedback is the one way system from the car park was not in operation due to a locked gate and there were no staff or volunteers to sort out the problem leaving car...

As with all Maverick races, great fun! Communication before the event was good and clear. Having registration for the shorter trail distances open after registration for the 50K closed was great so you didn't have big queues to pick up your bib. Staff and volunteers were always cheery and supportive. I did the 50K Ultra and the course was very well marked throughout. The aid stations were spaced out well and were well stocked. The only thing I found missing were some savoury sandwiches (ham/cheese) but perhaps I just didn't see them. Having toilets at each aid station was a massive plus point in my books! I didn't encounter any major bottlenecks except of course the steps near St Aldhelm's, but people were generally pretty good at letting faster runners pass. The event village had a great atmosphere throughout the day and a good choice of vendors.

I've run with Maverick events since 2016 when i did my first ever trail race with them and have always had a brilliant race experience, this time was no exception! It was my first go at 100K and what a spectacular course it was, i can't recommend this event highly enough for anyone stepping up to take on this distance - the course marking is superb, the aid stations are well spaced and stocked, the volunteers are brilliant and the finish line feels are something else! The only thing missing was more ladies on the start line - definitely give it a go in 2027!

Event was well run. Communication was clear and the course was spectacular. Aid stations were well stocked. Only pointers I could give were: - there was only one coffee truck which was overwhelmed by demand before the start of the 50km race. Having an additional coffee truck would have been good. - the post race goodies could have been better, essentially we only received a medal and a beer. - event photography has some great scenic shots but massively focuses on the front runners, it would have been nice to get a few more snaps of all runners as I didn’t appear in any and was hoping to put something on insta
