Brilliant, fun and unique event. You get to see parts of Jersey not many people get to explore and it is unlike any other running event I’ve done. Hats off to the guys who organised it. 🙌

The whole event was so well organised, I found all the updates on social media great, all the information sent to the runners was brilliant, the course was great and everyone that helped make the day were brilliant. The finish had a great buzz and was nice to get a drink and food...

The whole event was so well organised, I found all the updates on social media great, all the information sent to the runners was brilliant, the course was great and everyone that helped make the day were brilliant. The finish had a great buzz and was nice to get a drink and food voucher, the digital results screen was good too, something if not seen and was good to see how you did so quickly! Overall I think this has to be one of the best local events I’ve done from how it was organised, the information, and the atmosphere. Brilliant event. Well done to all involved. Mark Ray

The Intertidal is an outstanding event and truly unique. Running out in the zone where the sea will be 10m deep in a few hours is a massive buzz. The terrain is varied and challenging, making the race more intense than the distance suggests. Runners are in control of picking their route between the checkpoints and the super friendly and supportive marshals. Shirts, medals, finish line party and the atmosphere throughout were all gorgeous. Loved every minute! ❤️

The Intertidal is a unique event that was thoroughly enjoyable and very well organised, particularly considering that this year was the very first one. It was evident that lots of time and thought had gone into planning, safety, sustainability, frequent comms and not forgetting the unique hand crafted medals. Collecting tokens at each of the landmarks added a minor treasure hunt element that made the event extra enjoyable and each runner having a GPS added extra safety and peace of mind. Volunteers, course Marshalls and event organisers were all very friendly and helpful. An excellent event that I would definitely enter again.

This was probably one of my best, most enjoyable events ever. So unique and very well organised. A particular highlight for me was the atmosphere at the finish line…and with a pub right next door the opportunity for a quick “recovery pint” was easily organised!

The Intertidal is a well organised event with excellent communication where the focus is safe & respectful exploration of Jersey’s south coast intertidal area. The route is indicated on a Strava map but competitors need to make their own informed judgement of the actual route they take given the largely dry marine environment the course covers. It’s not as easy as following a route on terra firma! Given the unique pressure on the runners from running through rockpools & tidal channels the distance feels longer than its’ c. 25k. On a hot day more drinking water on the course than would be necessary on a road 25k is helpful as both relative effort & time to complete are higher & longer. The finishing welcone, free drink, good & locally produced pottery medal were all much appreciated. To be repeated!

Without a doubt the most fun I've ever had running 25km! From the start in Gorey, through every puddle and checkpoint to the finish line in St. Aubin, all the marshalls and organisation, the medal and the high fives at the end - one could not ask for more! Thank you!!
