This was probably one of my best, most enjoyable events ever. So unique and very well organised. A particular highlight for me was the atmosphere at the finish line…and with a pub right next door the opportunity for a quick “recovery pint” was easily organised!

The Intertidal is a well organised event with excellent communication where the focus is safe & respectful exploration of Jersey’s south coast intertidal area. The route is indicated on a Strava map but competitors need to make their own informed judgement of the actual route they take given the largely dry marine environment the course covers. It’s not as easy as following a route on terra firma! Given the unique pressure on the runners from running through rockpools & tidal channels the distance feels longer than its’ c. 25k. On a hot day more drinking water on the course than would be necessary on a road 25k is helpful as both relative effort & time to complete are higher & longer. The finishing welcone, free drink, good & locally produced pottery medal were all much appreciated. To be repeated!

Without a doubt the most fun I've ever had running 25km! From the start in Gorey, through every puddle and checkpoint to the finish line in St. Aubin, all the marshalls and organisation, the medal and the high fives at the end - one could not ask for more! Thank you!!

Well done to all the organisers for this inaugural race. It was seamless from start to finish, managing safety as a priority concern. The course was truly unique! I would highly recommend to others who enjoy a different kind of race challenge.

A great mix of adventure racing through water, carefully navigating rock and seaweed hazards. A fantastic race which truly showcases our beautiful Island, and also factors in our unique tidal range. I think this will become one of my favourite races on the Island. The organisation, aid stations and general support was first class, and the smiles on everyones faces at the end was refreshing to see. A good, and challenging time was had by all. I thought the idea of collecting tokens was brilliant, and added to the fun of the race. It was my first race with my son, so a good memory for life. I included the picture on review photos.

Excellent event with great Marshall’s supporting throughout. I never felt unsafe during the event and the finish line camaraderie was brilliant. One of the best events I’ve ever taken part in and can’t wait for next year!
