What can we say, it was our first ultra distance and we couldn鈥檛 have felt more supported by the crew at the Grim Reaper. It was clear it was a family / close group of people who organise the event and from the moment we arrived on Friday night to camp until when we packed up on the Sunday we had a grin on our faces. Huge shout out to the whole team, aid station motivators, elvis and the medics. We will be back 馃挭 James & Chloe

Affraid it goes down hill now.frown

I've run many races in which they have water stations at various points - this had 1 at half way which if you were lucky was full - if not your running 10 miles with limited fluids.

Feed station at the end but was limited so if your planning on doing this - take everything yourself, and I mean everything.

No marshals on course but you have chipping stations so the 2 guys running this know where you are.

Overall a great course and amazing stand out scenes - just wonder what I actually paid for.

Course - Beautiful - couldn’t be any nicer. Pre organised route used by the estate. Mixture of tarmac , grass and limestone trails. Fair few tough hills.

Aid stations - what aid station!? Water tub left out at 5 miles Ish. Aid station at start line. Melon jelly baby or crisps. (Take your own food or its over)

Saw the same two lads all day organising he event. No marshals etc.

For £120 I’m not sure what I paid for. Could be an amazing event. Let down by the simple stuff.

BBQ ran out of food by 8.

Once out on the course the only support is other runners.

Dissapointed as whole.

My 1st ultra and I signed up for the 70 miles, parking is ample, you pitch your tent near start so you can keep supplies in for this multi lap event , 10 miles of undulating beautiful at times course from tarmac to gravel mud and grass surfaces , I did 1st lap ok then on 2nd started to get weird cramp pain in my abdomen not the toilet kind thought it was a stitch but couldn't shake it off, for 30 miles I put up with it couldn't take deep breaths  and kinda hunched over so couldn't get any form going even when walking very uncomfortable, in end I had to call it a day, the organiser put my mind at rest and consoled me I was devastated not to be able to carry on and do another 30 miles , I ended up in medical tent they was absolutely brilliant I made my mind up I couldn't go on anymore

I would recommend this race to anyone the course is a beauty yes it's a multi lap which not everyone likes but I saw duffent thing and views every lap

First step to 100 miles. Easy navigation being loops of 10 miles and impossible to get lost. Lovely scenery, excellent aid station at end of loop, friendly people on all distances.
