This event allowed me to sign up as a late entry. Despite the trouble caused, the hosts provided excellent communication to ensure I knew where to be and when, the course (with gpx file) and safe. Adequate parking at Land guard fort with an outstanding event area to complete your registration (and collect your bib). There were live performances from the team at the fort too which added to the feel of the trail running community. The cafe opened early too so you could purchase tea, coffee and refreshments. The route was excellent. I love Felixstowe and have run the coastline promenade hundreds of time but this was next level in running the trails and taking in the spectacular views. Volunteers at the aid station were excellent. With free food and snacks, water, coke, and tailwind to keep you going. Participants were great and very supportive too. The medal also adds to the trail community vibe too. Engraved slate is unique and nothing like I have recieved before! The hosts went the extra mile and gave committed supporters of coastal trail runners another momento for completing all 3 of their races in 2026. Overall, the event was brilliant. It was great to take part in a smaller, local event created by local people. One I would definitely recommend and I am sure it won't stay small for long.

Excellent all round event. Thank you so much. The orange t-shirts for the marshals is genius making them easy to spot & run towards. Each and every marshal was supportive, encouraging & enthusiastic. The course from starting inside the Fort to finishing just outside it was fantastic. The slate medal & long sleeved running top were fabulous gifts at the end. And I’ve never had such professional finishing photos. Gavin was a star & I look forward to seeing them. It was a great touch for him to be there taking pics. Thank you. I’ll be back.
