The course was great - smooth surface, mostly flat and well marked. Great support from the race organisers, well managed water stops, loved the fake snow and the medal is fab! Glad we arrived early though as the queue to collect our race numbers was massive!

Really festive well run event. Especially liked the snow at the start & finish & the runners running round playing Christmas songs. Nice to listen to Rock Choir whilst eating mince pies at the end. Great medal.

They certainly got the name right with chilly hehe it was a lovely day for it perhaps a little bit windy at times but this has nothing to do with the event team who put on an amazing event and put in a lot of effort to make it enjoyable for children and adults are like. I love the snow (foam) at the start line and having Santa Claus riding out on the course. it was great to have a lead bike as well so that they could help move people to one side as we started to lap them. it was great to see lots of festive stuff and choir as well

We had an amazing time at the Christmas Chilly. I managed to run a 10k PB and both my girls loved the mile. The option to gift the mile entry to children was such a great idea and meant we got to enjoy a lovely family day. The medals are brilliant, although my 3 year old seems to have swapped hers for mine!! They both picked Team Pudding. The children loved the Santa chase and enjoyed a treat from their selection box on the way home. The festive spirit was wonderful, the snow at the start and finish and the Christmas music inspiring me round the course. We look forward to being back next year, the girls are already asking if they can be Team Sprout! Thank you to all the organisers, marshals, support staff and other participants who helped make it such a great event for us all!

The organisers had made every effort possible to make this event feel really like a Christmas event. From snow at the start, to Santa on the truck encouraging us around the course, the rock choir, a fabulous flashing Christmas medal, the jolly snowman, festive goods on sale - as well as the usual festive costumes worn by runners. SO much encouragement all the way round - certainly for those of us at the back - the family fun of the mile race - great to see tiny tots running with their parents - a brilliant event, with very friendly marshalls and staff. The only things which could be improved were the long wait to pick up race numbers and the port-a-loos needed attention well before the race started. But, those problems aside, I definitely hope to be back next year.
