This was my first duathlon. I was made to feel very welcome and if I asked, things were patiently explained to me. I chose this location because it’s so beautiful. I was nervous about the traffic but it was very quiet as it was a Sunday event. There are a few sharp hills to keep even the most seasoned duathlete entertained. A great medal and T-shirt were also part of the deal.
