Would have been a gret event except for 2 things 1. waited 1hr to do 1 obstacle (I will skip this obstacle if I do this event again) 2. I have a toddler and we arrived at 7:30am for the first wave. The kids area was not set up until after 10:30!

This is my fourth year of doing the Foam Fest Brisbane. This year felt poorly managed. No sunscreen, limited water stations and no shade (especially at the big water slides). In the Australia heat, that is asking for trouble. Got sun poisoning, and when I was the at chemist I was told that four other people were in the day before also suffering for severe sunburn or sun poisoning from the Foam Fest. Disappointed .

Very disappointed. It was an extremely hot day. It mentioned there would be water stations but there was not many or with a very long line up. My daughter was vomiting due to the heat. There were no helpers on the side line only staff at the obstacle stations . I had to walk my ...

Very disappointed. It was an extremely hot day. It mentioned there would be water stations but there was not many or with a very long line up. My daughter was vomiting due to the heat. There were no helpers on the side line only staff at the obstacle stations . I had to walk my daughter back to start with still no help, only to get back there with no shelter available. Out of the 5km we approx did 2km. We weren't offered any of the food , drinks or medal due to not finishing course. Waste of money for us. I would not recommend.

We came expecting a good time, but this event was disappointing and at times dangerous. We spent as much time queueing for the obstacles as we did racing. And while queueing, we witnessed several participants vomiting from head exhaustion- my wife ended up with horrible sun bur...

We came expecting a good time, but this event was disappointing and at times dangerous. We spent as much time queueing for the obstacles as we did racing. And while queueing, we witnessed several participants vomiting from head exhaustion- my wife ended up with horrible sun burns as well. This was likely due to the lack of water or suncream reapplication options on the course, and no shade for the ridiculously long queues. What was equally disappointing was that due to the time wasted queueing, we had to cut out race short, as allocated 3 hrs for child care to attend this race (which we thought would only take 1-1:15 hrs at most), so we had to leave the course early to rush home without getting to enjoy any of the post race ammenities. However, there as almost no covered areas in the post-race area, so even had we stayed it would have been miserable in the sun.

Lines for the obstacles we're way too long. People were throwing up due to a standing out in the heat for up to an hour just to climb up a slide. There were only a few water stations which had huge queues as well. No shade offered while waiting in any of these lines. Taking part ...

There were only a few water stations which had huge queues as well. No shade offered while waiting in any of these lines. Taking part in this event on a hot day is dangerous and disappointing.

Four gym buddies experiencing the 5K Foam Fest for the first time in 2022. We all absolutely LOVED the obstacle course. We had so much fun navigating our way through the course. The volunteers were very friendly and helpful and the event was very well organised. We loved the thrills of the large slippery slide and paddling through foam and mud. This event is a must for all ages. Next time I will be taking my family including grandchildren along. I know they are all just going to LOVE LOVE LOVE it. The best part though was knowing we supported a fantastic cause (Make A Wish) all while have fun and strengthening our friendship.

What an amazing event this was, and even better for me as it was my birthday and supported a great cause! It was fun, exciting and made a few friends in the day! Hubby and I thoroughly enjoyed it last year and will be bringing friends this year.
