I really enjoyed this event that was organised by Henley swim. Great communication in the build up to the event and the staff/volunteers at the aid station, start and finish were wonderful, so friendly and helpful. Each and every aid station was well stocked. Swim itself was lovely, water quality was excellent and you feel privileged to swim down parts of Thames not many people have the opportunity to. Yes, no toilets at the start in Henley, but that is a very minor quibble. Highly recommend

My first Marathon Swim and what a great one to start with. I felt safe, supported and welcome. All the volunteers and organisers were fantastic offering up Vaseline for my neck, supplying the perfect refreshments each leg and on the water the canoeist were just as good. In the perfect place for spotting and encouraging us all along the way. Can’t wait to have another go next year.

Having attended twice previously, I definitely felt this year's event felt particularly well organised. It was good to see so many canoeists and other volunteers. The swim itself was along a beautiful stretch of the Thames and there were plenty of kayakers to point you in the right direction. The support staff & volunteers were brilliant and there were plenty of appropriate snacks at the feeding stations along with a lot of smiles and words of encouragement. I would definitely recommend the swim to my swim buddies. At great atmosphere at the end with enough places to eat and drink. A huge well done to everyone involved!
