Location: About 1:30mins drive from Tokyo so pretty easy to get to. It's a day trip event so no need to register the day before which makes things easier.
Swim: Clear water with some good protection from an island. Nothing fancy. Ok beach.
Bike: Around and around an Airfield. Flat and fast.
Run: Along side the Airfield.
Definitely not the best event in Japan, but very easy to get to from Tokyo and all works pretty easily. A good training event, and certainly better than waking up Sunday morning with a hangover.

I found this to be a great little race which can easily be done as a daytrip from Tokyo (by car). Water and beach is actually quite nice, and I remember spending a few hrs chilling by the beach with friends after the race, so if the weather allows then it's worth bringing the family along. Bike was multi-lap, flat, and run was also a few laps, flat again. Good course for a PB.
