I had a lovely time at the Tad tri. I hadn’t been well the week before so just really enjoyed the beautiful scenery on the bike and run route. Organisation was fantastic and I will definitely be back to beat my times next year! I really enjoyed my pork pie and flapjack at the end...

Great event - very friendly, well organised, well marshalled, great good bag (pie!!), and a good race for all abilities. Done it twice and would definitely do it again. It's a bit unusual due to the long run (0.4 miles) from pool to T1, which means you have to put on trainers ...

Great event - very friendly, well organised, well marshalled, great good bag (pie!!), and a good race for all abilities. Done it twice and would definitely do it again. It's a bit unusual due to the long run (0.4 miles) from pool to T1, which means you have to put on trainers outside the pool. Just make sure you time your own swim, as the timing mat comes after the "shoe-putting-on-area", so official swim times look very slow on the results.

My first triathlon and really pleased that I picked it in my local area and I know the roads and the run route. Well organised apart from had to cross the running/transition route to get to the registration desk which caused some issues with being shouted at which wasn't apprecia...

My first triathlon and really pleased that I picked it in my local area and I know the roads and the run route. Well organised apart from had to cross the running/transition route to get to the registration desk which caused some issues with being shouted at which wasn't appreciated as wasn't clearly marked. Apart from that overall really enjoyed the day and plenty of space for my family to come and cheer me on.

It’s always nerve wracking after a winter of no racing, but the friendliness and atmosphere at Tadcaster always reminds me why I love competing. I look forward to it each year and will definitely be back to blow off the cobwebs in 2023.

I entered Tadcaster tri in 2022. It was my first triathlon so I was a little nervous . Everybody was really friendly and the event could not have been more clear and better organised. It was really easy for me to relax and enjoy the race.. Thank you

The run stood out for me as it was a really nice scenic run next to the river. My only criticism would be the run from the swimming pool back to transition was long!
