I have some comments about Swedeman 2025. I appreciate Sweden, the country, and the people there. The swim race was wonderful, particularly the waterfall. The people at registration, T1 and T2 were wonderful, and special thanks go to the Abba singers at the start and the nice couple at the 15 km mark in the running race. However, there were some problems with Swedeman 2025 that you may wish to consider: - During the entire race, you will not receive any assistance from the staff, not even directions. I took the wrong route twice and the help came from supports. - The bike race is dangerous, particularly on the E14 with high-speed traffic. There was no information about traffic jams due to roadworks, and my support was blocked in traffic for 45 minutes. - They promised food at the finish line, but there was nothing at the hotel at 10 pm. - Most importantly, nobody was present when I arrived at T2a with two other triathletes 10 minutes after the cut-off time afer 16 hours of race. There was no food, no help, no time check, nothing but the desert. A crew member explained to me that they have GPS trackers and that's enough for safety; they don't need to wait for the last runners. In conclusion, I am quite disappointed with Swedeman 2025. They closed practically everything at 10 pm, there was no food or welcome, and nobody was there. It seems that they want to go home as early as possible after they decided to stop the high-level race. Most importantly, if you are not a strong triathlete this is not a race for you. They don't care about the last runners like me, who won't see anyone when they arrive. That's not a good spirit. Great race. Much better than Seissman, close to Icon. The swim is against the current, but beautiful, the bilecourse is fast and rolling, just last 40km traffic, rest empty streets, very good signaling. The run looks easy, but is tough. Especially the last decent take a lot of power and focus. Totally: a great race. Even my support enjoyed a lot.

The race was absolutely beautiful! The swim was amazing and it was a great way to start a day of exploring the Swedish wilderness. The bike course was a lot of fun and allowed for some fast riding, even though it was 205 km long. Time flew by quickly! I'd say that the run is what makes Swedman so special and challenging. Running in the mountains around Åre with mud, hills, and downhills made it a really enjoyable/hard run. Fun running up to Åreskutan and being rewarded with an amazing view over Åre. It was convenient that the race took place around the town of Åre, as it made it easy to get to the hotel after the race was done. The race was well-organized.

A great and beautiful race…. Crew members and staff from Swedeman are doing all the right things to make it perfect🙂 A Lot of nature in all three disciplines.. But when Swedeman says its a trail run, they do not fuck around 😁 What a run 😎 If you are thinking about doing Swedeman, just go then. You will not regret it 💪

Swedeman Xtri was an incredible experience! The organizers were fantastic, and I felt very welcomed in Åre. It's a tough race - significantly harder to complete than Norseman. The event has the genuine, non-profit feeling of enthusiasts who love the sport. The course is truly amazing. One thing I would change is the last descent from the top of Åreskutan to the finish line - it's dangerous to race down such a technical and steep descent (and really hard on the knees). I would prefer a longer loop that finishes at the top of Åreskutan, which would make for an amazing finish line. All in all, thank you, Swedeman, for organizing such a fantastic event!

Loved this event. Not for the fainthearted but if you sign up for it, it will give you memories that other corporate triathlon brands can't. The swim is spot on, crystal clear water mixture of still lake and current from the waterfall with a temperature that will make you swim a bit harder to get out faster Bike course is challenging with plenty of rolling hills to make you pay attention through out.. Large stretches you won't see other competitors (if like me you are towards the back end) but its beautiful because there is also a complete lack of traffic, outside of a small stretch. I completed it on a triathlon bike if that helps! Run.. Was not expecting to do something so technical and challenging ever in a triathlon race. Well signposted, with a lack of clear path on the mountain added an element of mental thinking around taking the best path. Lots of KMs of boggy ground, steep scrambling and cross ice/snow made it all the more better Stopped in the holiday club Are which is the hub for the race. Great hotel with facilities, some poor reviews on tripadvisor but my advice would be to ignore as it was spot on. I can not rate this race high enough, race organisers/volunteers did all they could to help even when my GPS track had stopped working on the bike they were straight on to my support crew checking if everything was alright. If you are tempted by the race, I say do it! You will not regret it, pain is only weakness leaving the body. That will fade and you'll have memories of a lifetime
