My first ever Triathlon and without understanding the different distance I signed up to the Middle distance. Yes I came last but for me this was all about completing it within the time frames. Now onto the organisation of the event. It was second to none. I felt so welcome by the team, I felt supported and I felt safe. I struggled immediately on the swim which was meant to be my strongest discipline. I was just overwhelmed by the whole build up and pressure I'd put on myself that it really effected me. I hope that a marshal named Justin receives the message I gave to the supervisor about him. He encouraged me and allowed me time to settle myself. I think I was close to being asked to stop but he was incredible and got me through it verbally. I owe him so much for his support. So Justin if you r and this. Then please know how thankful I am of you. This was echoed throughout the transition stages and throughout the cycling and running sections. Nothing but good vibes and infectious energy from the marshalls. Every single one of them was amazing. And I finished it all with 15 minutes to spare. I feel so proud although absolutely shattered. I can't wait to book up again in the near future. Top work me harties. 🏴‍☠️🦜🏴‍☠️🦜

I loved this event today. Challenging events always have great marshalls and support crowds. Well organised and thought out. Maybe some post race goodies to take away would be nice but the end of race snacks/drinks were brilliant - watermelon was a huge win!!

Beautiful ride, clean weed free lake. A long transition but not a problem. Perfect touch at end with a cooling pool and nice for age group wins to be acknowledged.

Great Event - will be returning too again. Would be nice to not *have* to do a foot down mandatory stop on bike course - perhaps this could be changed - but otherwise the event was very hard to put down. A free finishers tee would be nice considering the price of entry is quite high - but for those that really wanted it there was an option so it’s fair. Thank you to hosting - I will be returning and recommending to many friends! ❤️

More stickers I have put a small sticker on my bike with every event I have done badge of honour for the bike iv only done two Burskin events but thought that was a nice touch other then that perfect

Challenging Events always put on a well organised, friendly and supportive event. This was my 3rd event with them and I have also marshalled twice, so have expereinced both sides and they are equally professional. Keep up the great work and thank you to the voluntreers today.
