Fantastic route on a very hot day. Wonderful little extras to keep the runners cool - water sprayers, ice pops and a fully stocked aid station. The Big Bear team are fantastic and really encourage you. Thanks for another great event.

This was my second big bear event with my friend. The Swan Challenge was a great event and beautiful course. Even though the weather was extremely hot the aid stations kept us fully hydrated and they looked after us so well. Mark was a delight to chat to and so encouraging. These events really are for anyone. I walk them and it’s lovely how everyone supports and cheers each other. My friend and I have chosen another big bear event for our first half marathon - The Kingfisher Challenge, as we know we’ll be well looked after. Looking forward to completing my first full marathon at a Big Bear event next year.

A wonderful event, it was the first time I’ve taken part in an event like this and it was brilliantly organised and everyone was so friendly my nerves soon disappeared and I really enjoyed the day …. I’ll be back for more

The Swan Challenge at Coombe Abbey Park was such a lovely inclusive and supportive event on a very hot day! The team were really encouraging with great refreshments to keep runners going and cool and I managed to run my first marathon!
