Organisation & communication is superb. It's one of the races you know they've tweaked over the years, and recent runners are enjoying the fruits of a lot of hard work making it one to remember.
Checkpoints are awesome, lots of choice & support. Also, so many volunteers on each one, plus they will all look to help you if you're flagging.
Personally, it speaks volumes about the integrity of a race and it's reputation, when the locals are in support of runners. To the point where they assist you and cheer you on! I absolutely love that about races, and this one is a huge one for a community vibe.
An epic run to do imo, but ignore the hills comments- they're just bumps in the road..
Keep it up, and like many others, I will be back to get that black t-shirt!
