Everyone was really friendly and it was a pleasure to run, despite the many hills! I went wrong as I followed the lead runner and a few others, but it didn't matter to me as it was a fun event and I looked upon it as extra miles for my money. I loved the finish through the sunf...

Everyone was really friendly and it was a pleasure to run, despite the many hills! I went wrong as I followed the lead runner and a few others, but it didn't matter to me as it was a fun event and I looked upon it as extra miles for my money. I loved the finish through the sunflowers and maize, and the support at the finish line. I will definitely be back and recommend it to others next year.

Normally, I wouldn’t want to criticise a charity event but Saturday’s race was verging on being unsafe. There was a lack of Marshall’s and signage that led to me running 13.5k ( on the 10k course), I know some of the faster runners ran further. To then finish the run only to find...

There was a lack of Marshall’s and signage that led to me running 13.5k ( on the 10k course), I know some of the faster runners ran further. To then finish the run only to find there was no water available was disappointing.

I thoroughly enjoyed this race! I found it pretty hard, and it certainly was not 10km, as my watch came to around 11.30km. However, I was super happy to have pushed myself and cross the finish line. The location was perfect, great variation of terrain and lovely views of the so...

I thoroughly enjoyed this race! I found it pretty hard, and it certainly was not 10km, as my watch came to around 11.30km. However, I was super happy to have pushed myself and cross the finish line. The location was perfect, great variation of terrain and lovely views of the south coast and sunflowers. Some people seemed disappointed with the medal, but I loved it! A sunflower and eco-friendly? What's not to love. Thanks for the event!

Great carparking and enough toilets. Fantastic course, great views, although I had to watch my step. Rest stop half way was a real treat and the volunteers were very welcoming. I'm very happy with the wooden medal.

The trail itself was beautiful with stunning views and challenging hills. But several people went he wrong way due to signage confusion or shut gates. Might be a good idea to share a map of the route beforehand to allow runners to be informed where they are supposed to go. The ...

The trail itself was beautiful with stunning views and challenging hills. But several people went he wrong way due to signage confusion or shut gates. Might be a good idea to share a map of the route beforehand to allow runners to be informed where they are supposed to go. The finish was a bit confusing: I was at 11k when I was sent for another 500m through the corn maze. And when crossing the finish line we were given watercress (?) and a somewhat disappointing medal. A metal medal and a bottle of water or maybe sunflower seeds would’ve been nicer I think.

I feel there wasn’t enough Marshalls. I think there should be one on each gate to navigate and also if anyone needs help. Whilst running, someone went over on their ankle on top of Many den Castle and there was no way of contacting anyone. We thought we would let the next Marshal...

I feel there wasn’t enough Marshalls. I think there should be one on each gate to navigate and also if anyone needs help. Whilst running, someone went over on their ankle on top of Many den Castle and there was no way of contacting anyone. We thought we would let the next Marshall know but there wasn’t anyone till the end. Luckily they managed to get back up and someone stayed with them.

Taken part in both 2024 & 2025 and have to say in terms of organisation this year was so much better. Parking was good. Bib collection was smooth, race started on time. Those hills were just as hideous. The end needed to be a bit better organised. Far too many people including kids just standing around right on the finish line. Last years start & finish tunnel was a much nicer touch. Not entirely sure how so many people went wrong..........saw some very speedy runners running past us having missed signs and going the wrong way.

Hi Sadie, I'm sorry the medals were not to your liking. I tried wooden ones as they are far more sustainable than others we have used in the past, these are actually made near Dorchester. They worked out pretty much the same cost as glass or metal. I do agree though, they don't have the weight and satisfaction of the other types. We return to metal and glass for Race on the Chase.
