Lovely route, very hilly but expected with the location. It was fun to see the sea views as well as running over Maiden castle.

I really enjoyed myself, I was made aware that we had to bring our own cup or bottle, and I could see how hot it was so would definitely need more water. I knew it was going to be 5K, maybe slightly longer due to the sunflower field being in different places every year. The explanation at the start of the 5K that we would be doing an out and coming back the same way was a bit confusing, i was looking at my watch and thinking god, we need to go back up maiden castle a 3rd time but that wasn't quite the case, which was a relief. I would do it again.

Absolutely an amazing run in a beautiful part of the country. Well organised and great support. The aid station was well stocked with everything needed The only thing bad I will about this run is that on such a hot evening there could have been an extra water station around the Arla Dairy but I get that there probably wasn’t enough volunteers to make this happen.

Considering the amount of people, more shade in the shape of tents would have been better. Luckily, it was a bit cloudy at times. Clearer signage about which side the 5k and 10k runners go when finished, rather than just a short line of tape to split the two. General atmosphere was awesome, there weren't ridiculous queues at the toilets and ample parking space. The route was testing at times, but it is a trail run, so to be expected. A nice mix of terrain. Well signed from the road to find location. It was in the info from the start about bringing your own cup, so no issues there. Perhaps a nice cold drink on finishing would be a good touch. Other races I've done, they hand out as you finish.

I’ve run the Sunflower Stride 10K (plus a bit!) three times now. My times have got worse with every run — and I really don’t mind! What a route. Absolutely brutal and amazing at the same time. For the last two years, for no extra cost, you even got an extra mile thrown in for free! 😂 Thanks to Tri Counties for a brilliant afternoon of pain, sweat, heat and fantastic views across Dorset. Friendly runners, a great atmosphere, and a well-marked and well-marshalled course. Highly recommended 👌 I’ll probably be back again to get even slower! 😄

Absolutely love this event. Is it tough, more brutal I’d say but I’ve done it twice and I’ll do it again. The sunflowers are always amazing and this year they were outstanding. Mike always puts on a fantastic event. Support team and photographers are excellent.

Great course and a lovely, friendly and local run. I know a few people have mentioned this run is over distance, which we were made aware of. Only thing to suggest (as I realise the course is dictated by certain factors) is the race could be advertised as a 7 miler (or a 4 miler for the shorter distance). Generally people prefer it to be over than under though, and it’s personally not a massive issue. Looking forward to the Slow & Dirty in December!

It was an amazing venue. The course was tough in places but otherwise good. Very disappointed that the hog roast advertised wasn’t there and a cold sausage roll was poor. Could have done with a marshal at the carpark
