Fast registration process, good signage and welcoming volunteers. Quick safety brief recap on start line. Rethink food/water stops. Change cake for savoury snack sandwiches or sausage / veggie roll rather than sweet cake and crisps.

Full of cold so swapped to the short route but really enjoyed exploring new roads. Staff were very friendly & efficient, quality finishers medal too, much better than the wooden ones. The latter starting time suited late risers like me. Hoping to come back next year.

The event was very well organized with arrows along the route and two feed stations. The route was through rolling countryside and passed through several pretty villages. There was very little motor traffic on the route. There was a marshal at a busy junction.
