This was my second time doing this race. It's a beautiful location and an interesting undulating course, with 3 laps meaning you get used to where the hills are etc, which makes it easier to run. The road aren't closed, but they are not busy, there's just a couple of places where there can be a bit of contention for space, but I've found local drivers to be very considerate and a bit of cheerful politeness both ways and I wasn't held up at any point, and never felt any danger. This year it was unexpectedly warm, which made it quite tough, but the organisers brought out extra water,and quite a few spectators helped with sprays, water pistols etc. the organisers sent out plenty of health advice prior to the race, as the hot weather had been forecast. There were plenty of marshals out on the course looking out for anyone that was struggling. All other communication around the race was excellent, and numbers were sent out which reduces stress on the day. The start and finish location was at a lovely pub, with a great garden, so it was a great spot for runners and any supporters.

Great event and support on course. Tough course, particularly in the heat. One portaloo, pub toilets were availavle to runners but this was not clearly communicated.
